I have received a number of messages from readers of Just Publishing Advice, asking for more information about adding links to text and images.
This is an essential skill for authors in particular, as any form of book promotion requires good looking links.
In a previous post, I wrote about adding better looking links.
But it did not include a step-by-step process for creating text and image links.
To save a lot of writing and explaining, I decided to make a short 6-minute video.
It shows you how to create great looking text and image links for your blog, in Word documents or in an email.
I have also included instructions for adding Amazon’s new ebook embed script.
Hopefully, this video will make it easier for you to add better links to your blogs and websites.

I started my working life as a lithographer and spent over 30 years in the printing and publishing business.
Originally from Australia, I moved to Switzerland 20 years ago. My days are spent teaching English, writing and wrestling with technology while enjoying my glorious view of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
